Who will be victorious in Super Bowl 47

The big game is almost upon us and the media wires have been humming all week in the sports news and sports on the web. The talking heads have been going strong, analyzing every possible match up and outcome in Super Bowl 47. The Vegas line as of this writing has the San Francisco 49er’s favored by four points over the Baltimore Ravens. Allsports agrees that it will be close. Both teams play the same sort of game, run the ball and establish it, then pass for what the defense will give you. The receivers of both are able to get up there and come down with the ball in a crowd. But really the bread and butter for the success of each one and the main reason they are playing for the Vince Lombardi Trophy is their defense. Both teams have a very good one and the old phrase would hold true here, defense wins championships.

It should be a good tough football game and there will be some points scored but not a bushel full. The final score might be in the high teens or low 20′s. A 24-20 final score seems about right to Allsports. So like Vegas, is everyone jumping on the 49er band wagon? For me well it is going to be tough and close but I am going against the grain and picking the Baltimore Ravens to win in a very tight game. The Ravens have played with character, beating some tough teams on the road through the AFC playoffs and Allsports feels they are just destined to make Ray Lewis’s final year a success.
Jim and John Harbaugh
The Harbaugh brothers will be matching wits against each other and they both have the same football background from as far back as playing in the backyard in Toledo, Ohio. John is a little older than Jim with a little more experience. So maybe he can add a wrinkle that brother Jim won’t pick up on right away.

An excellent game, a difficult game but showed the best of football
When these two teams met in Week 10 the Giants’ defense played a solid game. The final score was 27-20 in the 49ers’ favor, but the Giants offense actually outgained the 49ers by 90 yards. The defense forced four field goals, but two interceptions by Eli proved to be the difference.
