Allsports likes the Fan Huddle Concept
Allsports was recently contacted by a gent named Brad Stewart about a new interactive sports on the web concept that will be launching this fall. The website will be called Fan Huddle, and is a new sports news venture developed by Front Office Sports Enterprise
Allsports has been invited by Fan Huddle to take part in this new venture. The concept is intriguing to say the least but allsports is a bit worried about spreading himself a little thin by writing for Fan Huddle as well as keeping the readership happy with his own venture here. Things as the saying goes though can be worked out is the wash.
When the Fan Huddle comes to fruition it is hoped that as many as 150 writers will be contributing to it with a very diverse range of expertise for sports on the web. All the major sports would be covered as well as college sports news too. The traffic and back linking could be staggering.
Here is a excerpt for the press release and I quote.
“Though the media industry is in a period of uncertainty, Front Office Sports Enterprise announced their plans today to launch Fan Huddle, a new sports media website, this fall. The target launch is early September, according to Front Office Sports Enterprise, but an exact date has yet to be set. Fan Huddle will feature news and opinions on most major US sports and additional international coverage”.
“In addition to articles, Fan Huddle will provide readers with the ability to interact with each other and discuss their favorite teams. Live chats with experts will be a regular feature on Fan Huddle and users will be encouraged to become engaged in the community. Therefore, when the company was looking to expand, they set forth two goals: (1) expand the company’s offerings into all sports markets and (2) combine reliability with greater user interaction and a smoother interface. Their solution was Fan Huddle”.
Stay tuned to sports on the web, this venture could be a wild ride and a bunch of sports entertainment fun too.
